Skyler Johnson, MD is currently completing his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Michigan State University. During that time, he worked on prostate cancer clinical outcomes research with the Radiation Oncology Department at University of Michigan. In addition to Dr. Johnson’s clinical responsibilities, he currently completes large national database research in cancer clinical outcomes and comparative effectiveness. His other research interests include cancer survivorship and investigations of novel therapeutics with radiation. Dr. Johnson is married with three children ages 8, 3, and 1, with whom he spends his spare time. He is planning a career in academic radiation oncology and would like to design clinical trials. He is currently receiving additional training as a Health Sciences Research Fellow as part of the Yale National Clinical Scholars Program (NCSP).
