I-95 Traveling North or South

Exit 47 to Route 34 (Downtown New Haven). Route 34 becomes N. Frontage Road. Turn left onto Park Street. Go through the light at S. Frontage Road. Smilow Cancer Hospital is on the left.

I-91 Traveling South

Exit 1 to Route 34 (Downtown New Haven). Route 34 becomes N. Frontage Road. Turn left onto Park Street. Go through the light at S. Frontage Road. Smilow Cancer Hospital is on the left.

Route 1 (Boston Post Road) Traveling East

Turn left at the intersection with Ella T. Grasso Boulevard (Route 10), and right at the next light onto Legion Avenue, also known as South Frontage Road. After 1 mile, turn right onto Park Street. Smilow Cancer Hospital is on the left.

Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) Traveling South

Exit 59 immediately after tunnel. Turn right at end of ramp. Merge left onto Whalley Avenue at light. Stay on Whalley about 3.5 miles. Whalley becomes Broadway. Turn right at Park Street. Proceed through lights at N. Frontage and S. Frontage Roads. Smilow Cancer Hospital is on the left just beyond S. Frontage Road.

Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) Traveling North

Exit 57 to Route 34 east into New Haven. Proceed on Route 34, also known as Derby Avenue, for about 5 miles. Turn right (south) at the intersection with Ella T. Grasso Boulevard (Route 10), and left at second light onto Legion Avenue, also known as South Frontage Road. After 1 mile, turn right onto Park Street. Smilow Cancer Hospital is on the left.

Parking Options

Radiation Oncology Valet Parking

Available exclusively to radiation oncology patients. The Radiation Oncology Valet is located on the left side of Park Street, immediately past the light on South Frontage Road. Cost: Free.

Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven Valet Parking

Located at the main entrance to Smilow Cancer Hospital, on the left side of Park Street between South Frontage Road and Howard Avenue. Cost: $10.

The Air Rights Garage

Open 24 hours a day and located between North and South Frontage roads, straddling York St. Special parking spaces for Smilow Cancer Hospital patients are available on the fourth level of the garage. The garage is monitored by Yale-New Haven Hospital Protective Services. Cost: $3 for 24 hours.
